About 400 rainbow trout – large fish, 13-14 inches long – were added to both Curran and Black lakes last Wednesday October 15.

The fish were provided by the Pisciculture Mont-Tremblant. Rod Armstrong and David Glionna, pictured above, selected them for these lakes as they do not seem to have any speckled trout left and are more robust and too large to be swallowed by the small mouth bass population. Limit your catches to a strict minimum in 2015. These trout will be active in the lakes for the next four to six years.
