A Beautiful Fall Day for Fish Stocking at Curran and Black Lakes.

A beautiful fall Sunday it was! A bit cold, but the vibrant fall colours made it disappear!

First stop as at Robert and Laurie’s dock at Curran Lake for the delivery of 350 rainbow and 250 speckled trout as in previous years.

Next on to Brian and Gail’s dock at Black Lake which received 295 rainbow and 176 speckled.

All the fish at both lakes 8 – 10 inches.

This annual activity is sponsored by your association and very ably managed by master angler Rod Armstrong. The DCA stocks two lakes every year. Clear and Boyd were done last year.

Since pictures are worth at least 1000 words, I invite you to have a look at these pictures and click to enlarge them.
