This picture was taken at Kern’s Restaurant, in Gore, on January 22 when Cécilia Gionet handed Taras and Mary a gift from the participants of the twice weekly exercise class for seniors so cleverly led by Taras. During the winter months, the classes are held Monday and Thursday at 11 AM at the Gore Community Centre. There were no less than 26 of us there; the place was packed. Kern’s (562 8787) is the only restaurant in Gore. It is located just a few minutes south of Lakefield and is accessed from the 329, first blinking yellow light. I have only heard good things about it. My fish and chips were excellent.
Can’t think of a better gift for Terry & Mary. We like the restaurant and hope it stays in the area for a long time. Let’s keep passing the word around about it. Good job Jacques. We gave gift certificates for meals there, a good idea when you don’t know what to get for someone.
