Our Best Wishes for 2024 and a Christmas Gift for Each and Everyone of you!

What a decade!

It started with the great COVID pandemic. Then we saw Trump’s MAGA insurrectionists storm the Capitol. The following year, Putin invaded Ukraine for no reason and sent there his most cruel and murderous mercenaries. As if that were not enough, Hamas attacked Israel, triggering a war that left nearly 20,000 dead. And I said nothing about Sudan and many other catastrophic situations on our planet.

All this in less than half of this decade!

Let’s acknowledge how lucky we are to live in a country at peace! And let us keep a beautiful place in our hearts for all those who suffer.

Your board members, Alex, Bonnie, Lois, Brian, Johanne, Lynn, André, Trudy and I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a healthy New Year.

Christmas is a time of sharing, love and solidarity. Our Christmas Eve services will be a great opportunity for many of you to show that solidarity.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
There will be two services at St Paul’s this year:
A Family Service at 4:00 PM lead by our own Jim Finch
A Prayer service at 8:00 PM with Reverend Peter Prosser at the pulpit

Finally, France and I suggest you take a few minutes to listen to the famous Minuit Chrétiens by Adolphe Adam as sung by France’s dad, Raoul Jobin accompanied by the Les Disciples de Massenet choir.

The recording was made in Montreal in 1954 has become a great classic.

This is our Christmas gift to you all.

Listen!
